DNS — it's simple!

DNS is one of the oldest and most useful Internet services. How it was before? We take hosts file, edit it and circulate to friends and colleagues. But soon this file has grown to a huge size and it has become impossible to manage it personally. A distributed system of domain name management appeared — DNS.

Years passed (c), new RFC appeared, new opportunities. And what we have now? What problems DNS has faced, what is DNS Flag day and why DNSSec doesn't work? Alexey will try to answer these questions.

This talk will be interesting to the general public who don't have special knowledge but wants to learn about protocol work.
