At the beginning of the 2010s the business requirements for deliberate changes gave a new application to BEM. Declarativity of blocks, elements, and modifiers allowed to compare several versions of interfaces with each other. It was the basis of A/B testing, experiments. Historically they were implemented on I-bem and related technologies, but at the end of 2010s community and users generated new qualities in interfaces and their development.
During the session Alexey will talk about key changes in the world of BEM for the last 10 years — about React and the experience of its evolutionary implementation on a large scale.
Graduated from Belgorod State University with a degree in physics in 2005, then got a PhD.
